Patient Reviews
May 04, 2022
My knee cap was split in two when I hit a cement stair with my knee. The pain was immediate and quite severe. A neighbor called 911 for me and an ambulance took me to the hospital of my choice. I chose Unity Point Health as I had been treated there previously and I have great admiration for the nurses and Dr's that work there. I met Dr Kensinger at that time and he informed me what to expect after my operation. The next thing I remember is lying in bed with a leg support. After surgery I was treated with the utmost care. Dr Kensinger informed me of what I needed to do to complete recovery. His bedside manner was top drawer. He is a Dr that actually listens to his patients and cares about them. I can't say how grateful I am to have had him for a surgeon as there isn't that much room in this small box. Just let me say he is one of the very best all around in my experience. I am making an amazingly fast recovery due to his advice and direction.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
