Had a weird headache a week before Halloween. Drove myself to the ER in Pierre at 2:30 pm or so, then threw up and passed out after 10 minutes. Woke up the next day in Sioux Falls. Turned out, I had a brain bleed with, what looked like, a 2-inch ball of coagulated blood sitting on my brain. Dr Coughlin saved my life. I'm forever grateful to him.
