My husband was in the hospital in critical condition when he was diagnosed with a type of leukemia and not given much hope but Dr. Vakharia was not going to give up on him. He was too sick and too weak for conventional chemo so she found a capsule type chemo and started him on that. within a very short time he turned around and is now home and restarting his life again. Without her determination to do everything possible before giving up, because several other doctors did and recommended hospice, he would not be here today. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor and would, and do, highly recommend her to anyone needing a doctor for the treatment of cancer. I also want to say her assistant Jody was wonderful and talked me through many difficult days.
