I was Dr. Spencer's patient nearly 35 years ago. I had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and the prognosis was not good. I am still here and in good health today! Not only was he good at the science of oncology, he was kind and gave me information that I could understand while others were talking over me. He treated me with respect. I will never forget him.
