I was nearly to the point of walking with a walker (from using a cane) when I decided it was past time to see Dr Allen. From my first visit to the last (after surgery) I was extremely happy with Dr Allen, his assistant, and office staff. I don’t think I ever asked him a question since he answered them long before I could ask. He explained everything clearly so it was easily understood. He made certain my fears were addressed going into surgery, but also made sure I didn’t have expectations that couldn’t be met considering the level of deterioration in my spine. I had a 3 level spinal fusion along with other things neither of us were expecting. Considering everything that required ‘fixing’, and being told I had a 12 month recovery time, I’ve been very happy with where I am 3 months after surgery. No one wants spinal surgery. But if you’re someone who needs it, you absolutely can’t go wrong with Dr Allen and his staff. I’m very happy with him and everyone who works with him.
