Dr. Christian Schuetz received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997 from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He earned his Medical Degree in 2003 at the American University of the Caribbean, Saint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. Dr. Schuetz completed his general surgery internship in 2003, and residency in 2008 at the University of South Florida, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship in June 2009 at the University of South Florida. Dr Schuetz enjoys Surgical Critical Care in addition to trauma and acute care surgery, but is trained in all aspects of surgical care including the most current minimally invasive techniques. Dr Schuetz is Board Eligible in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
