Dr. Elfenbein’s expertise in the area of nutritional mental health has been enormously helpful to me. This along with her knowledge of hormones and mental health has helped me to taper my medication and feel really good.

Care Philosophy

  • I believe in striving for overall health and healing, rather than strictly a symptom reduction model of care. I provide a complete assessment to determine underlying causes of depression, anxiety , and other illnesses and evaluate metabolic, hormonal, genetic, dietary and lifestyle factors. Clients can chose between conventional medication and /or supplements, herbs,and vitamins for their treatment. Breathing techniques are taught to all. Yoga and meditation resources are also available.
