He is open to discussions about new research and supportive of participation in medical studies (you have to find them, if interested). He doesn't see treatment as a one-size-fits-all proposition, and I actually enjoy going to my appointments with him two or three times a year. I have been under his care for over 5 years, and I have never had a bad experience.
