Amazing surgeon! A+++! Dr. Metzger is the reason my hands work today. I had trigger finger in all 10 fingers, which is very unusual. The county medical system in Houston did surgery on 2 fingers on my left hand, poorly. I have scars and dupuytren's contracture from the surgery preformed by the county medical system. I went to Dr. Metzger to consult a good hand surgeon about my trigger finger issues. In 2012 Metzger did trigger finger release on all 5 digits of my right hand and released a compression in my right wrist. The surgery went great! Heal time was minimal and only tiny incision lines remain. In 2013, I fell and fractured my left wrist. The doctors set my wrist so poorly that it was 10° off. I again went to Dr Metzger for help. He reset my wrist in hopes that we could straighten out the damage the other doctors caused. Sadly, we were unable to fix the damage by resetting the wrist. So in 2014 Dr. Metzger re-broke my wrist and put in a titanium plate. My wrist is perfect.
