I've been seeing Dr. Herring for a year now. I had been seeing a different psychiatrist previously. My last psychiatrist did not try to treat my problem, but rather mask it, by prescribing sleep meds. I felt like my last psychiatrist did not listen to me AT ALL. Since seeing Dr. Herring, my journey has been so different. She actually listens to me. She then gives me the pros and cons of all viable medication options. She then lets me decide what sounds best for me. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to medication. I feel like she genuinely cares about my well being, instead of just shaking her head and taking notes, like so many others. Additionally, having children is in my near future. Dr. Herring has been so helpful in discussing my options for pregnancy and post partum. I strongly recommend her!
