Where to begin…I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (9/2021) as a direct result of the 1st Moderna Vax taken at a Publix 7/2021. Dr Emery, my original neurologist and an excellent one, did many tests but spinal fluid gave confirmation. Within short time I had become 75-80% paralyzed with some brain impairment I couldn’t walk and only barely feed myself. I was in hospital for 8mo..When I was approved to go home my care was transferred to Dr Agner, I mean yea I was nervous but Dr Emery recommended him and for someone (me) with seemingly very little or no luck, I got lucky twice with my neurologists! Dr Agner is knowledgeable, astute, and patient, he met with my sister/me, explained his plan for the next 6mo-1yr and was informative and in no-rush. Currently while slowly improving physically, I’m really struggling mentally with memory, daymares and blanks. Dr Agner is adjusting plan, remains steadfast and we continue to fight. Boyo I am glad he is in my corner.
