My wife thought I was having a TIA (transient ischemic attack), so we hustled off to the urgent care and from there to Sacred Heart ER. There I met Dr. Patrick who immediately set up a series of medical tests, all of which showed there had been no stroke and all was looking good from his perspective. However, as a precautionary measure he referred me to a Neurologist. After conferring with the neurologist, Dr. Elizabeth T Walz, I was greatly relieved to find out that I did not have a stroke. This visit to the ER was not unpleasant due to the professionalism of the ER people, all of whom were polite and caring. And the outcome was a welcome relief.
