I was seen by Dr. Oei January 1st at 8AM due to feeling ill. I was given a strep and covid test to help determine what might be going on. Unfortunately, I tested positive for covid. She was very kind and listened well to me. She listened to my lungs and heart and then gave me information on what I can do to help with the symptoms. I am an at risk person due to age and prior cancer. She let me know that the monoclonal antibodies would help but that there was a severe shortage of the one that would help. Later that afternoon she called me at home and said she was able to find an infusion center in Fort worth and signed me up for an infusion. I was incredibly touched that she would go the extra mile to assist me. I had the infusion today, 1/4/21, and it will really help my symptoms. I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding care and help.
