Dr. Varela is an absolutely amazing doctor/ person. We had the pleasure of working with Dr. Varela when she was in Philadelphia. Sadly our son Tommy was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 4 on Christmas Day but Dr. Varela walked us thru everything and held our hand. I can happily say my son is healthy now and every year we receive a Christmas card from Dr. Varela, we will never forget her and she will always be a part of us.
