Had an inguinal hernia and Dr Rooney and her team got me scheduled for surgery in under 3 weeks. A month after recovery I'm feeling great, much better than before surgery. Dr. Rooney's staff is incredibly helpful and reassuring especially since I was more than a little anxious before the surgery. My recovery feels like its going extremely well and to me that shows Dr. Rooney's skills as a surgeon and a medical professional. I do think that Dr. Rooney could work on bed side manner and have a little more pre-canned information before and after surgery. I knew I needed surgery because a hernia is not going to repair itself, but I don't know what questions to ask during pre-op/post-op medical appointments. It very much felt like if I didn't have questions we could have skipped seeing each other and I could have read a pamphlet on the type of surgery.
