Patient Reviews
Oct 20, 2022
Apparently, there are little or no early warning signs of an impending Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm and little opportunity to survive it. I did thanks to Dr. Tell and Christopher McCamish. After surgery and during my 30 stay I was completely sedated and have no memory of Dr. discussions, finds, and facts. I was never aware of the severity nor the death rate until some many months after while perusing the web and began to be shocked by my prognosis and likelihood of longevity. Death was almost certain following the event. Luckily, I was at retirement age and could. I planned to finish my days remaining with some solace and I began living my best life day to day. Two years after the event a CT scan revealed my tear had healed and almost out of that danger. I still had concerns due to acute Arterial Flutter and the possibility of stroke along with high blood pressure. Friday 10-14-22 a cardioversion permanently put that to rest. Monday 10-17-22 was my 3 year anniversary. THANKS...

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Tell was inspired to go into medicine by his father, who was a family physician in New York City. As a young boy, Dr. Tell would go with his dad on house calls, and the appreciation that the patients and their families showed made an impression on him. Years later, he is following in his father's footsteps, helping people and trying to make their quality of life better. Dr. Tell's area of special expertise is the Mitral Valve repair (where the surgeons treat leakage or narrowing of the mitral valve). He enjoys this procedure because 'it is as much arts and crafts as it is science -- there are many ways to get a mitral valve to close.' Dr. Tell likes the challenge of figuring out the best way to repair the diseased valve. Dr. Tell's family is his wife Linda and their two daughters.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
