I had been having a long time issue with tennis elbow. I saw 3 specialists over the last 10 years and had multiple cortisone shots with no help. The pain would come back after a few weeks. I couldn't workout in the gym without it flaring up. Dr. Hill cured my problem with a simple procedure using a syringe filled with lidocaine & Dextrose and inserting the needle under ultrasound guidance to break up the scar tissue of the tendon. The procedure was painless and done in the office with a local anesthetic and took about 15 minutes. After the procedure, I was given some simple at home instructions for stretching. Within 5 weeks I was pain free and back in the gym. I would return if need be for an other issue. This procedure was the simplest of 3 options that i was given. My next choice would have been the same process using my own blood platelets as the injection solution. I'm glad the first treatment worked since it was covered by insurance, the blood platelets procedure is not.
