If you’re considering getting bariatric surgery then look no further! Dr. O’Connell and his team are some of the most dedicated, talented and attentive people I’ve come across in the medical field. They’ve truly transformed and changed my life beyond my wildest dreams. A year and a half ago I couldn’t even lie flat on my back, had high cholesterol, hypertension, sleep apnea, GERD and was pre-diabetic. Since my surgeries in September (gastric bypass, hiatal hernia repair & gallbladder removal,) I no longer suffer from any of these ailments and ran a 10k for the first time in my entire life! Additionally, his surgical skills have resulted in minimal scarring and side effects! Dr. O’Connell’s level of care and concern for his patients extends far beyond and after the operating room. He is an active participant in all the areas of the bariatric program and takes the time to listen and answer any questions and concerns that might arise surrounding this surgery.
