I found Dr. Tsay to be not just an excellent surgeon but also one who looked out for the patients best interest as well. He came highly recommended by a good friend of mine, and I concur with that recommendation. He is the third doctor I have seen, one nearly a decade ago and one about a month ago, to evaluate my shoulder. The first two recommended a complete shoulder replacement. Dr. Tsay evaluated my x-ray and did not sugar coat how bad it was. However he listened when I told him my level of pain was very tolerable, and I was able to do everything I needed to do. After a thorough physical checkout he recommended not to have surgery. He said he could not guarantee greater range of motion, and since pain was not an issue it was unnecessary. I was very pleased with that recommendation, and with his honesty. For any future shoulder issues he is the only surgeon I will contact. I very highly recommend him to anyone with shoulder issues.
