My husband was up several times a night to urinate and I could hear his stream was weak. I asked him to see a urologists for a prostate exam. the Dr. he saw examined him and ordered a PSA and prescribed some meds and told him to come back but nothing had changed. The Dr. did another exam and told him to continue with the meds. He felt something wasn't right and went to see Dr. Blitz. My husband took his lab reports to Dr. Blitz who looked them over and noticed one of the meds my husband was prescribed by the first Dr. who ordered a PSA should have doubled the value. Dr. Blitz did another PSA and sent him to urology oncologist. Dr. Blitz recommended a biopsy based on the new PSA results. My husband had prostate cancer. The cancer was very close to the wall of the prostate. Dr. Blitz explained the options my husband had and he decided to have a radical prostatectomy with Davinci assisted robitic. My husband is now 7 plus yrs. cancer free and it's all thanks to Dr. Blitz.

He will evaluate a patient's entire urologic status, and spend the time needed to get to know the patient and help with their problems. Dr. Blitz strives to deliver the highest quality of care to his patients by bringing the latest advances in urology to the community he serves. He practices all aspects of adult urology, with a special emphasis on advanced minimally invasive therapeutics, laparoscopic surgery for benign and cancerous conditions, and microsurgical infertility techniques.
