I wish I could have Dr. Haracic--pronounced 'Harachick'--as a talk therapist. But he is a psychiatrist, so I cannot. But boy, he is a delight--a superb mind with both a caring and a playful aspect. He immediately put his finger on aspects of my life situation with uncanny accuracy. Somehow, talking with him for just 45 minutes made me feel less trapped and down, and much more joyful. Like, yes, it is a difficult situation, but there is also in fact something funny about it that I had failed to perceive but he magically helped me to perceive. He was such a delight to interact with, who knew therapy could be fun, human, and at the same time, so helpful and enlightening? Just wish I could have a weekly dose of interaction with him...but I accept that that is not his job, other than to adjust meds, at least not for someone like me.
