My heart never left you, even though yours left me. Your letter meant the world to me but I was broken then and unableto respond. After so much time, my heart still searches for you. Though, I may never see you again in this life something is compelling me to write this anyway. You should know my feelings never changed. I've spent my life loving you. You were the most wonderful person I've ever known. Even after you hurt me I never stop loving you. But, I was convinced you were meant to travel a different path and I believed I'd hold you back. Or, cause you stress and pain while you became a doctor. So, I searched for the next you. Came close, but they never compared to you. I turned 50 recently and I got to thinking it was time to pour out my heart one last time. I've loved you my whole life and always will. I regret not responding to your letter all those years ago. Please know, at that moment I was filled with happiness knowing you still cared. We both 'made a mistake'. Love WBG
