  • Dr. McCain is the Medical Director of Radiology at Macon Northside Hospital, Macon, Georgia, where he also serves as Chairman of the hospital's Board of Directors. He is #8 in the nation in terms of the number of Kyphoplasty procedures performed, and he has served as proctor to many physicians across the U.S. seeking certification in this intricate, highly-successful technique. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University, Atlanta and completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Emory Affiliated Hospitals, and, in 1985, a clinical fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida. His distinguished career has included chairmanships, committee participation, and memberships on numerous medical boards and in societies and associations including the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Bibb County Medical Society. He has published many articles in medical journals and has delivered lectures and presentations at symposiums and conventions throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Dr. McCain is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, and Diagnostic Radiology.
