Dr. Vlessis saved my husband's life 20 years ago when he performed emergency heart surgery to replace my husband's mitral valve when he had endocarditis. He was an outstanding surgeon and a warm-hearted human being. I will always be grateful to him for his medical expertise, caring and compassion.
