I went to Lakeland Regional walk in clinic in Gateway facility over a month ago. Seen my PCP. Between the 2 so called care facility an ultrasound was order. However it was not for area of my complaints but of my organs. After my PCP and I had disagreement and I walked out of her office I went to Lakeland Regional and seen Dr Yick through fast track. Thank God he listened and cared. I was diagnosed with Cellulitis and prescribed 2 antibiotics. Its sad I had to go through so much pain, and develop sores before finding treatment and relief. The PCP had mentioned cellulitis last month however did nothing to treat. Instead wasted medicare money. Thank God for doctors like Dr Yick who is truly a example of what it means to be a doctor.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
