I crawled into Dr. Brooks' office, having suffered through 18 months of injections for pain from, what was diagnosed as an arthritic hip. Unable to walk or sit down, I went outside my Health care system and asked to be seen by Dr. Brooks. He observed be straddling the chair, on my knees with arms over the back of the chair. He immediately concluded that my pain was not from my hip but probably a herniated disk in the lumbar of my spine. He made it possible for me to have an MRI within a day and an appointment with a neurosurgeon. Within 48 hours of my visit with Dr. Brooks, I was diagnosed with three herniated disks and an appointment for pre-surgical consultation with the neurosurgeon was made. My surgery was two weeks later. I am fully recovered, walking 4 mph on the treadmill, driving, flying, and just motorcycled to Alaska and back. Thank you Dr Brooks. It has been three years and I am very thankful for your fast recognition of my problem.
