Patient Reviews
Jan 24, 2024
I'm 82 and I had a heart attack for the first time. I had to have two stents placed. Suddenly cardiology became a totally new experience for me, from terminology to procedures. To make matters even more difficult, I had JUST had a 2nd cochlear implant placed one week before! At the facility where I had the stents placed, I could barely hear what was said or understand staff because of masks. My wife never did get to talk to the cardiologist, though she made several requests to do so. Luckily, we meet Dr. Cheng at a different hospital. This wonderful man took the time to help us understand everything that happened & what needed to happen moving forward. This doctor is personable, relatable, detailed, methodical, a listener...we were not at all rushed and came away with great comprehension of my situation.Have to say, it's almost a euphoric feeling to feel heard and really have trust in someone who can literally save your life. We are so grateful.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
