I moved from New York to Maine and started started seeing Dr. Thornton about 3 years ago and his colleague, Dr. Desoi prior to that. I had a kidney transplant in the year 2000 and have been extremely fortunate as it is functioning great almost 22 years later. I feel I am in exceptionally good hands with Dr. Thornton as I find him to be very thorough, knowledgeable and highly professional. In NY I was treated at one of the leading hospitals and by some of the top doctors anywhere. I was a little concerned when I moved here as I was unsure of the availability and the caliber of care I would receive but those apprehensions have been averted completely being under the care of Dr. Thornton. I would highly recommend him to anyone with kidney issues and in need of high quality renal care.
