Dr. Schroettner is a highly competent doctor. He is available to his patients 24/7 for emergencies and genuinely cares about the people he treats. He is extremely up to date with new medications and their uses and side effects, and well-versed in psychiatric theory and practice. I have been seeing Dr. Schroettner for 23 years. All of that being said, his receptionist, Debbie, is terrible. She is rude, inconsiderate, she has horrible phone etiquette, and her in-person interaction with Dr. Schroettner's patients is even worse. She's been there forever though. I'm not sure why, there are much more competent, empathetic receptionists out in the world for hire. Don't let a horrible receptionist distract you from this terrific doctor. He is worth it.
