I’m 32, so the idea of back surgery at my age for disk degeneration, is scary as it is. I had a rude pre- op nurse who made me even more scared the day of surgery, so when Dr. Beaumont came to talk to me before going to the OR, he brought me so much peace and comfort. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure to answer any questions we had. He assured my husband that no matter what my husband decided to do during the surgery, Dr. Beaumont would personally get ahold of him to report on the surgery. The day after my surgery, he made sure to stop in and tell me how things went, and told me that if I wasn’t ready to leave that day, I was more than welcome to stay another night, which was really comforting. I’m only 7 days post-op, and I’m feeling great. My mobility has increased everyday, I’m not bed ridden like I had expected, and I’ve even gained a little bit more strength in my toe, which had basically gone dead prior to surgery. I would highly recommend him!!
