I was lucky enough to have Dr Andrea Dory attending when I made an emergency visit to Glen Cove Hospital. Dr Dory had the most pleasant bedside manner, showing kindness and empathy. She ably identified and treated my injury. She also performed a thorough exam and discovered a lump on my thyroid. She referred me to a specialist and made multiple follow up calls after I left the hospital, to check on my progress. When the earliest I could get an appointment with a specialist was in four months, she stepped in and secured an appointment for me that week. She diligently dealt with my insurance company to get my medications approved, making multiple calls and submitting vexatious paperwork. Dr Dory has tenaciously attended to my health with great care, and expertise. Dr Andrea Dory is a superstar and I’m grateful to have her as my primary care physician.
