I saw Dr Anand Patel for my first screening colonoscopy. I was anxious about the procedure as I had heard horror stories about the prep and was nervous about the results given my mother had just been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Dr Patel could not have been any more reassuring, kind, compassionate and patient with me. He took extra time to answer all of my questions, and was so thorough with my care. He is highly skilled and detailed, finding a 2mm polyp in colonoscopy, and a nearly as tiny lesion on my liver while palpitating my abdomen during a routine exam. His calm nature and excellent bedside manner immediately put me at ease and continued to from from the initial meeting to the follow-up and everything in between. Knowing I was nervous he was highly communicative with me and never let me wait on results. He is just a doctor that seems to really care about his patients and surrounds himself with staff that feels the same way. I highly recommend Dr Anand Patel!
