After my doctor retired three years ago, I decided to escape the frustrating world of doctors in professional groups employed by hospitals. I found these environments to be driven more by profit motives than patient care. Based on recommendations from others in my community, I decided to investigate Dr. Carpenter and the concierge medical model she practices. Boy, am I glad I did. Here is what I love about Dr. Amy and the concierge model. - Dr. Amy invests the time needed with her patients. - Dr. Amy explains every procedure and test in great detail, helping me to see what she was trained to see - Dr. Amy is incredibly accessible, engaged, and genuinely concerned about my health. It is comforting to be able to speak directly to my doctor when I have an issue. - Having routine tests and labs done through Dr. Amy is very cost-effective. Having seen how Dr. Amy has treated me, my wife, who is on Medicare, has now become a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Amy to anyone!
