Dr. Haynes' Background
Dr. Haynes is the Chief Medical Officer at Regional Medical Center of San Jose. He first served at Regional as Medical Director of the Cogent Hospitalist group since 2012, and as Vice President of Medical Management overseeing twelve hospitalist programs in California, Washington, Nevada and Arizona. Dr. Haynes works closely with Regional's medical staff, executive leadership, the Board of Trustees and nursing leadership to foster growth and ensure continued excellence across all clinical services at Regional. He chairs Regional's Advanced Clinicals Committee, which guides the implementation of an expanded Electronic Health Record (EHR). A graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Haynes is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSEE) in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
