Dr. Ocean takes time to explain patient's diagnosis, treatment plans and next steps. She answers all of your questions. She holds your hand and offers the utmost compassionate and empathetic care. She sets a tone with her staff and leads by example. Her staff are always responsive, thorough, caring and all around personable. I have never met a doctor more committed to her patients. God forbid you need a GI medical oncologist. And if you do, I highly recommend Dr. Ocean. I am very grateful for her.

My practice focuses on treating gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal, pancreatic, stomach, biliary, neuroendocrine, and liver cancers. I place great value on having strong physician-patient relationships and feel this is especially important in cancer care. I not only provide state-of-the art cancer treatment for my patients and their families, but comprehensive support through a compassionate and multidisciplinary approach. Through clinical research, I am able to offer my patients access to the latest therapies such as radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies, cancer "vaccines," immunotherapy, and other novel targeted agents. At Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, we utilize a bench to bedside approach and are committed to bringing the most promising new treatments out of the lab and directly to patients often years before they are widely available elsewhere
