My surgery went well which was not easy because I have bone density problems. Dr. Newton had my trust and permission to do what was necessary. He did just that and at two weeks after surgery I have no swelling no pain. I literally have a plate and screws and it’s stiff and achy from starting my flexing and rotation exercises. He gave me a more comfortable shorter walking boot. I cannot say enough how impressed I am by this doctor. He is professional, thorough and has a great Dad joke. I’d give him 10 stars if I could. Also I am in East Stroudsburg. I travel an hour to see him because he is worth the trip.

Care Philosophy
  • As a physician, I believe in making every patient in my practice part of our St. Luke&rsquos family. Going to the doctor is normally not a fun experience, but I strive to have every patient leave smiling. I am most proud of my diagnostic abilities I enjoy diagnosing and managing rare pathologies and providing working solutions for patients who have been unable to find this elsewhere. I am a foot nerd. I have the ability to treat most common and uncommon foot pathologies with a range of conservative and surgical options. I strive to keep patients out of surgery as much as possible, but my surgical toolbox is broad and I can address the myriad of foot and ankle pathologies.
