  • Dr Fischer double-majored in¬†Biochemistry and Spanish at the University¬†of Maryland, and worked in occupational and environmental cancer¬†epidemiology as a Cancer Research Training¬†Award fellow at the National Cancer Institute prior to starting medical school at Johns¬†Hopkins University School of Medicine. He took an additional year to¬†earn a Master of Public Health degree at Johns¬†Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed an internal medicine¬†internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore¬†before returning to Johns Hopkins University¬†School of Medicine for his dermatology residency¬†training. He has been a presenter at national conferences and been published in major journals. He enjoys travel, fitness, tennis,¬†and playing piano.
