Dr. Gerhart sincerely cares about his patients and you can depend on him to keep his word about patient choices if he can do so safely. He is detail oriented and very patient. My wife and I would be very pleased to have him as our anesthesiologist for any procedure. We would suggest that he discuss the options for anesthesia privately at the pre-op appointment which for us was two weeks before surgery or on a day prior to surgery rather than in the prep area of the surgical suite.
