Care Philosophy

  • Hello,
    I am Dr. Akshay Manohar. I am board certified in Infectious Diseases, and provide care to people living with HIV.
    I know that visiting a doctor can be stressful, especially when visiting a specialist in my field. This is especially difficult for people in the LGBTQ community for fear of discrimination and unequal care.
    In my practice, I aim to provide a safe, judgement-free environment where I hope the people who come see me can be comfortable in being their true selves.
    My new practice, Centaur Medical Center is now open in Orlando, FL. We now accept a few insurances and are in the process of credentialing with more.
