Care Philosophy

I am committed to personalized cancer treatment that emphasizes holistic, comprehensive and supportive care. I work to understand tumor biology to create a unique treatment plan specific to each patient's tumor. However, gastrointestinal tumor treatment also requires a multidisciplinary approach involving a team of MGUH specialists for the best patient care and outcomes. I work closely with surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiation oncologists and radiologists through a patient's diagnosis and treatment. I also believe support from nutritionists and palliative services are essential to addressing patient symptoms and comfort while treating cancer.
