My primary Dr. routinely did PSA tests. The number shot up in one year. I saw a urologist and completed a biopsy. The test came back positive for cancer. I transferred my care to Dr Eldefrawy and MCI. They did an MRI and Dr Eldefrawy completed a guided biopsy of the prostate. The tests verified established cancer. Dr. Eldefrawy met with my wife and I and discussed options. I had researched radical prostatectomy procedures. Dr. Eldefrawy clearly explained the procedure and the use of robotic arms. It was a long procedure due to Dr Eldefrawy's commitment and diligence. He was meticulous not to damage major blood vessels and reconnect nerves. The pain was very minimal for such an extensive procedure. Dr Eldefrawy needed to be precise in the removal of all the prostate tissue and lymphatic system as the cancer was a Gleason 7, stage 3 cancer. Three months later my PSA score is less than 0.1 undetectable. Dr Eldefrawy saved my life. I have no incontenence and regained full use...
