If you're looking for best in class in the specialty world of hematology/oncology, Dr. Shaker is your doctor. To say Dr Shaker is the best is an understatement. Adjectives don't adequately state how great he is. His care, concern and compassion for his patients is a top priority. He has a great bedside manner. He has exceptional knowledge of cancer & treatments He makes it point to ensure the patient has an understanding of what he's communicating. Dr Shaker has too many fabulous qualities to quantify into words. Simply, the best. All doctors should strive to achieve the excellence Dr. Shaker provides his patients. While unfortunate to have a disease/condition that requires I see this type of specialist, he restored my trust in doctors. I can honestly say I enjoy going to the doctor, even when I anticipate news that might not be the best or positive. Dr Shaker has a way to make that news "not SO bad" and I'm able to continue to live my life without being consumed by medical issue.
