Dr Mercado was thorough in checking me. She took her time answering all my questions and didn't rush me. She showed me my test results and walked me through it so I can understand her explanation. She also tried to connect with me on a personal level which I appreciated. I was seen right away. I recommend Dr. Mercado.

Care Philosophy
- Dr. Verstraete has always had an interest in learning how things work. Throughout high school, she became more interested in human bodies and their function. Working in family medicine, she gets to see a little bit of everything. “Each day brings a unique challenge, but I also get to know my patients and see them over the course of their life.” Dr. Verstraete enjoys being able to follow patients through their health journey, whether that be a few months or many years – getting to help them gradually improve their health.In her spare time, Dr. Verstraete enjoys hiking, bicycling, knitting and gardening.“I want to help each of my patients be as healthy as they can possibly be! Working with each patient to find the best solution(s) for their health concerns is so fulfilling.
