I really like Dr. Alqahtani. He listened to my concerns and treated me as the expert on my body. He explained the disease process, medication options and treatment well in a way that was easy to understand. He is responsive to patient portal messages and even came by when I was inpatient to let me know he was involved in my care and staying in the loop on how my admission was going. This is a provider who shows empathy and compassion and has always treated me with dignity and respect. That's not always easy to find and I would recommend him to family if they were to need a neuromuscular specialist. And (silly, I know) but I like the bowties he wears - they always put me in a good mood.
