Abbey Gallien, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician. Dr. Gallien was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Charity Hospital and Children's Hospital in New Orleans. She was selected Ambulatory Pediatric Chief Resident at University Hospital. For 13 years Dr. Gallien worked at LSUMC Lallie Kemp Medical Center and served on the Medical Executive Committee. She was Chief of Ambulatory from 20092011 and CoChair of the Credentialing Committee in 20112012. Dr. Gallien joined Children's International and began treating patients at our Hammond Clinic in 2013. She enjoys taking care of children of all ages and has a special interest in encouraging exercise and healthy eating habits.
