Dr. Fiore's Background
David C. Fiore, M.D. is the Professor and Vice-Chair of Family and Community Medicin, and Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency at the University of Nevada Medical School.
In addition to teaching students and residents in the Family Medicine Center and during hospital round, Dr. Fiore has coordinated and instructed first and second year courses in physical diagnosis and community medicine. Dr. Fiore has been heavily invested in the issue of professionalism in medicine; he helped initiate the University of Nevada School of Medicine Honor Code and Honor Committee (which he co-chairs) as well as the Professional Development Committee (which he also co-chairs). Dr. Fiore also has a passion for Wilderness Medicine and teaches students, allied health professions, physicians and others on this exciting topic.
