About Me
Care Philosophy

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and lack of meaning and direction in their lives. I have a particular interest working with artists and those engaged in the creative process. Through an understanding of feelings, relationships, and a deepening of inner and outer dialogue, an individual in therapy can enter a process of healing which leads to the shedding of patterns that may no longer be necessary. I consider psychotherapy to be a project between two people in which the goal is to understand unconscious sources of emotional pain and ultimately open a space in which to alleviate suffering. The result is a very singular relationship that encourages multiple readings of itself and of all the relationships that have come before it.In my practice symptoms are treated as an integral part of the individual's experience, and can be thought and spoken about in order to change one's painful relationship to them.
