As a professional in mental health the field myself, it can be challenging to find a therapist who is able to meet me where I am while guiding me towards my goals all while maintaining a strong rapport and trust. It can be hard when I have similar training myself. Beverly is really good, has challenged me to see things differently, and implement strategies both behaviorally and cognitively. She does not push, rather takes on my goals and I truly feel she has my best interest in mind and genuinely cares about her patients. She is highly educated and it shows, yet she is able to explain things in simple terms to make them more easily understood. We seem to be doing a bit of cognitive-analytic therapy (very effective for me) combined with cognitive-behavioral therapy (helpful). Beverly seems well versed in a slew of psychotherapeutic interventions. Our 45 minute sessions are exactly 45 minutes, which appears to be an ideal duration given the depth of the sessions. I highly recommend her.
