I've been seeing Barbara for about 2 months now. I feel she is a great listener who is able to integrate cognitive behavioral therapy and have it feel like a conversation rather than moving through a series of modules. I often take notes during our sessions and then practice some of the skills that she's taught me during the week and we discuss those outcomes during the next appointment. She is able to help me offer advice where I could have been more successful and celebrate with me when things go really well. She is empathetic, funny, and incredibly resourceful. I really enjoy our sessions and look forward to them.
