Care Philosophy

  • Caring vision solutions that enhance people's lives. Dr. Zlatin's care philosophy is all about the prevention of eye disease and the overall health of patients. Starting with the Infansee program for evaluating the health of babies, available at no charge to families without insurance. Dr. Zlatin treats patients of all ages for vision, eye health, and monitoring of eye-related systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension to name a couple. As a fellowship-trained orthokeratologist, Dr. Zlatin specializes in myopia control for children. This is another example of his ingrained care philosophy for preventative care. As it is now well documented that myopia is not a benign condition, and the extreme increase in childhood myopia has dramatically increased in recent years. As the number of children and the level of myopia rises, so do the risks for retinal detachments, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other sight-threatening conditions.
